Understanding Me, Myself and I

In this morning’s reflections I believe I have found 2 more personas Pete and Annie. Panicky Pete works with all the others. He is the one whose thoughts race at 100 miles an hour, trying to think of every issue, every solution, every scenario, everything! 🫣

Sometimes Pete ends up with Animal, angry and upset by the frustration, difficulty and unfairness of it all!! 🤬

Sometimes Pete ends up with Sloan too defeated to think about any of it or about anything for that matter! Sloan takes Pete out of the world, staying in bed and hiding away. 🫩😴

Sometimes Pete ends with Mayo, who although he can’t take Pete’s panic away, he is encouraging and cajoling and gets Pete to get on with the day despite whatever is going on inside. 💪🏻👍🏻

Finally in the really good moments Pete finds his way to Annie. Annie is always present but often gets lost in all the noise of the others. She is the calm in the storm, she guides Pete with an assurance that life is good and that he is fine. Annie has immense drive and will power, she believes you hang on in through the storm because the sun will come out tomorrow.
